Botanists Grown Here. The Junior Science Garden
The creation of a Junior School science garden aims to inspire and engage children through experience and investigation. The science garden would provide hands-on permanent features and activities which could not easily be found elsewhere on the Gordonstoun campus.
The garden would support the learning of biology, physics and chemistry in the Junior School, whilst inspiring learning in the primary years. Bug hotels, raised beds, a pond ecosystem, metals in the outdoors, engineering and environmental studies would all feature with an interactive analemmatic sundial as the centrepiece. The cost of creating this garden is £1500.
