Cumming House

Mr McNeil with his family

My wife, Lucy, and I do all that we can to create a homely and welcoming environment for the boys. Our aim is to ensure that Cumming House is a place in which the boys can grow and develop, and to feel safe and secure, whilst also having fun. We believe in supporting the wide range of activities and opportunities that exist in the School, but also in providing many others at a House level. These may take the form of ‘Brews,’ musical concerts, formal dinners, expeditions, and Inter-House sports. It is a busy and vibrant life in Cumming House and a real privilege to support the boys through their Gordonstoun years.

There are currently plans to renovate Cumming House, retaining the unique look and feel of the building, whilst completely modernising and updating the inside of the House.  This should start in the Autumn Term when we will be relocated to a newly refurbished Ogstoun House, next to Ogstoun Theatre, on the other side of the campus.  We will then return to Cumming House once the building work is completed.
