Duffus

Mr Ranald Baird, Housemaster Duffus HouseDuffus is a very warm, friendly and comfortable House which is home to 57 boys and young men. As Housemaster I live in the House with my wife, Kerri, our young daughter and our black lab, Marshall. We also have a resident Assistant Housemaster and a very strong team of tutors who work closely with their tutees to ensure that every aspect of each student's day to day needs are catered for. There is at least one tutor on duty in the House every evening as well as myself or AHM. Our matron is Mrs Wendy Swail who does an exceptional job of keeping everyone at Duffus on the right track!

It is very important to me that what we offer here at Gordonstoun and at Duffus is an exciting and stimulating environment which pushes and stretches our students whilst ensuring that they have all the support and advice they need to develop their full potential. This allows them to leave Gordonstoun ready to face whatever is thrown at them as balanced and well-rounded citizens of the world, something I'd like to think Duffus has been doing for many years.

Mr Ranald Baird, Housemaster
