Rugby Calcutta Cup Day - Edinburgh

All OGs, their friends and family are welcome to join us for the OG match against Edinburgh Accies, which will take place in Edinburgh on the morning of the Calcutta Cup match. Please meet at Edinburgh Academicals FC at 11am for a 12pm kick off. The match will be followed by drinks in Edinburgh. Please note that the GA will not be arranging tickets for the Calcutta Cup, England v. Scotland match. Over 30's Annual Dinner - London

Nigel Rimmer has very kindly organised this annual event. It's open to all OGs over the age of 30, but numbers are very limited so it is advisable to apply early to avoid disappointment. The evening will consist of a three course meal with wine and coffee all for the sum of £34 each. The dress code for the evening is Black Tie or Lounge Suite (or equivalent for ladies). Ilkley Golf and Dinner - Ilkley Golf Club, Yorkshire

The GA Golf Day at Ilkley has now become an established fixture in the OG calendar. All OG’s and their guests are invited. A light lunch will be available from midday followed by golf at 2pm. drinks will be held in the evening from 7.30pm followed by dinner at 8pm. If you are not a golfer, you are welcome to come along in the evening for the drinks and dinner gathering. The all inclusive cost is £90 or £40 for dinner only.
Ilkley is one of the most popular golf clubs for visitors in Yorkshire and if you experience it for yourself you will understand why. It is extremely picturesque with its gentle contours and meandering River Wharfe set against a backdrop of Ilkley Moor. We warmly invite you to join us here at Gordonstoun for GA Day on Saturday 24 April 2010. There will be Cutter sailing at Hopeman (limited numbers and subject to completed booking form), a chance to see the new George Welsh Sports Hall and ample opportunity for discussion with current students and staff. Refreshments will be available throughout the day, ending with a first class dinner in the evening.

If you relish wining and dining in comfort and style, with an unbroken view over Princes Street Gardens and Edinburgh Castle, then this event is for you. Over the past seven years, OGs from all years, former and current parents, together with partners and guests have enjoyed a most convivial evening. The meal will start at 7.30pm.
If a round of golf appeals to you then the annual Scottish golf match will be taking place at Bruntsfield earlier in the day.
Once again Angus Morgan will be “mein host”, and he warmly invites you to join him for dinner and/or golf. He is delighted that Mark Pyper, Headmaster of Gordonstoun, will be present at the dinner and will speak about his 20 years at the School.
