St. Andrew's Day Gathering, London

On 26th November 2009 the Gordonstoun Association Committee met in London and this was followed by a drinks Gathering at the Caledonian Club in Belgravia. This was a splendid occasion with a real cross section of the Gordonstoun family in attendance.

There were young OGs who were just at University, slightly older ones making their way in the cut and thrust of professional life in the City and young at heart OGs keen to catch up on news from the School. It was also delightful to welcome some ‘former’ parents to the throng of over 70 people.

There was much discussion of Gordonstoun past, present and future and there was also the almost obligatory networking taking place. The essence of the evening however was of fun and the atmosphere was most convivial. Steve Brown, the GA Co-ordinator welcomed guests to the Gathering and Peter Ramsay, the GA Chairman added his greetings and oversaw the 200 Club draw.

It is hoped that all who attended enjoyed the occasion and that they will encourage others to attend future events.
