Gordonstoun: An Enduring Vision Update
Work is progressing well on the book to celebrate 75 years of Gordonstoun. The project editor, Jill Hollis, recently visited the School to interview both current and former staff and pupils. Amongst the former members of staff she met with Ian Lawson, David and Mary Byatt, James Fitzgibbon, Angela and Don Clutton, George Welsh, Angus Millar and James Thomas.
A large number of contributions have been received from former members of the school with some wonderful anecdotes and photographs and many current staff are working on areas where they have a particular interest.
There remains however, still time (and space) for further submissions – particularly from the
1980s to the present time. If you have memories or photographs of your House, expeditions, tours, sail training, sports, drama, music etc that you would like to share please visit
Third Millennium Information's website, who are publishing our book, to send in your own contributions for the book. This publication is designed to reflect the experiences of all of those on whom it had an influence, so please get involved and let us make this as inclusive and comprehensive as possible – and do not forget to order your copy!
