Our School Week

A typical week at Aberlour House

The school week at Aberlour is busy but well-balanced. A typical school day begins with assembly for the whole school.

This is an important time for all students, day and boarding, as we start the day together. It is also a time for announcements about the day ahead.

On Fridays students attend a weekly service at St Christopher's, at which we encourage parents and guardians to attend.

Following morning classroom learning, pupils enjoy time together outside the classroom, in the extensive school grounds and in evening activities.

At weekends at Aberlour House students follow a full programme of activities.

Year 8 pupils have Saturday morning lessons. These prepare them for Common Entrance examinations, which take place during the year and form a useful transition to the Senior School.
