Ogstoun Theatre was packed as well over three hundred people joined us for two shows of The Lion King Junior.

It takes huge commitment to put on a good show and the whole of Year 7 and 8 wowed us with their impressive talent and energy on stage! All of the hard work and rehearsals that have gone into this great performance were evident as we were taken to Pride Rock from the first minute of their incredible singing, dancing and acting. The audience laughed, cried and sang as they were captivated by the spectacular costumes and emotive performances of our children. Wonderful live music was performed by a talented senior school student band to accompany all the drama.

Massive congratulations are due to everyone who took part in this highly memorable show! Of course, no production is possible without expert teaching and direction so a huge thank you is due to all of the staff who contributed their time and effort to the play. A special mention is due for Mrs Hopkirk and Mr Csenki who directed the play and the music respectively and who worked tirelessly to ensure the show was a truly outstanding success!
