On Saturday Gordonstoun Junior School held their annual Junior Highland Games for primary schools, this year sponsored by Specsavers.

We were delighted to welcome many teams and the competition was thrilling. Throughout the day children took part in traditional Highland sporting activities such as Tossing the Caber, Throwing the Haggis and Tug o' War. Piping and Drumming competitions were also popular and generously sponsored by McCallum Bagpipes. Paralympic Gold medal winner Mr Steve Bates was the Chieftain for the day and inspired the young competitors throughout the competition.
