Summer Term 2017

Year 9 and 10 Expeditions

A stunning backdrop for a campsite

Over 130 Year 9 and 10 students recently participated in their Summer Term Expeditions. Most students journeyed on foot through wilderness areas of Scotland while some were fortunate enough to canoe down remote lochs and rivers. Many stood aloft isolated Munros in majestic surroundings and all enjoyed unique and unforgettable experiences in new and inspiring environments.

All the students were faced with challenges that have hopefully helped them learn more about the natural environment, themselves and others around them. The expeditions were generally blessed with pretty good summer weather and which made most of the expeditions even more enjoyable. It was a fantastic array of expeditions and everyone who participated should be satisfied with their many achievements.
