Autumn Term 2017

Peace One Day

Today Gordonstoun marked International Day of Peace - sadly, a day late due to yesterday's adverse weather conditions. The staff and students from both the Junior and Seniors schools made a supreme effort to create the words Make A Difference which flowed into PEACE, all expertly choreographed by Mrs Paterson. Despite the soggy, underfoot conditions and cold wind, everyone worked cheerfully together to achieve our most complicated pattern ever. Well done to Mrs Paterson and her ISC classes for coming up with the idea and to everyone for making it happen.

The event was filmed by Head of Media Studies, Mrs Black, from the roof of Gordonstoun House with two of her Media Studies students expertly taking the controls of a drone to get what we hope will be some spectacular aerial shots. The video will be available shortly.
