On Hallowe'en itself, the Refectory staff staged their termly Healthy Eating promotion day which featured lots of seasonal, colourful vegetables and produce - along with the occasional Jack o’ Lantern and some suitably spooky decorations.

Items on the menu included Witches Gruel (porridge to you and me!) and some spooky soup (butternut squash); also included were Venison Sausage and Bean Bake, Chicken with Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato, Chilli Beef, Ratatouille and Pear and Apple Crumble, to name but a few of the delicious autumnal dishes on offer.
