Autumn Term 2017

Remember, Remember...

Gordonstoun Fireworks Display

Gordonstoun celebrated Bonfire Night with its usual style, welcoming students, staff, friends and families to the annual fireworks display. Following a barbecue supper, everyone gathered on the South Lawn to enjoy some music by the school’s brass band prior to the magnificent display put on by Portgordon Fireworks.

The Gordonstoun Fire Service was present to keep a close eye on proceedings, and to manage the bonfire, while members of the First Aid Service manned several First Aid stations in case of accidents. Braziers were lit for roasting marshmallows and there was a special safe area for those youngsters who had brought sparklers along with them. All-in-all, it was a fun, family evening enjoyed by all who attended.

Many thanks to John Campbell from IT Services who took these stunning images from the window on the South Room in Gordonstoun House.
