Spring Term 2018

News from the Junior School - Week 1

Welcome Back

Back to work

Beautiful frosty mornings have greeted us as we have returned to school this week for the Spring Term. It hasn’t taken long to get back up to full speed and we have plenty to look forward to this term. Our Flag Service likened the term to an expedition up Mount Everest, exploring the attitude required and thesupport we need to give each other as we approach the various challenges of the term ahead.

Hitting the Slopes

The forecast is looking good for skiing at the Lecht and on Monday we shall confirm if skiing is going ahead for Wednesday.  To avoid any disappointment on the day, we would like to remind you of the  equipment the children must wear to go Skiing: Ski goggles, Salopettes, Ski  Jacket, Ski Gloves and plenty of warm clothing - we would recommend thermal clothing as layers are the key here.  Today the forecast for the Lecht says:

The Highland Games

The Highland Games Committee will be meeting at 1030 this Saturday to discuss this year’s upcoming event. Thank you to everyone who has already so kindly contributed towards this year’s raffle prizes.  If anyone has something they could add,  please send it into school. Perhaps an unwanted Christmas gift or just something which has been lying around the house for a while, will help us reach our fundraising goals for the NSPCC and Children 1st.

A Wonderful Wedding

The new Mr and Mrs Main

On 29 December 2017 Chrystelle Naud married Andrew Main at the Michael Kirk. It was a very special occasion and it is our absolute pleasure to congratulate the happy couple on their marriage. We wish them every happiness for their future. So Miss Naud is now Mrs Main and 8N becomes 8M!
