Spring Term 2018

Classics and Art Trip to Edinburgh

A few words from Ragnar P, Year 13, Captain of Classics

It was an early morning start to get the bus down to Edinburgh where we dropped off the Art students before making our way to the National Museum of Scotland. The first thing we did at the museum was look at some items from the Roman era including games, oil lamps, coins, etc. Some of these items were real artefacts, which was pretty cool.

After looking through the items we did a worksheet that guided us through the important parts of the museum and helped us remember everything better, and the exhibitions were all pretty interesting. We then had some free time to look around the other parts of the museum before heading to the Art Gallery where we had some time to look around, before joining up with the Art students to head back to school.
