The Ronnie Berry Annual Jazz and Rock concert has been so successful in recent years that it was staged on two successive nights this year in order to accommodate the large number of people who wished to attend. There were large-scale performances by the Concert Band and Jazz Band as well as many smaller ensembles, which have been coached throughout the year by our expert guitar and drum teachers, Ms Truslove, Mr Kramer and Mr Cavalcante.

The performances were given with great conviction and enthusiasm, and were very well supported by our own technical crew. On the second night, the event was combined with senior school socials; a barbecue was held during the interval and the seating in the Theatre removed, so that the space could become a dance floor. Many thanks are due to Tom Harvey for co-ordinating the event and to all staff and performers involved.
