Fire Service Hazmat Exercise

Scottish Fire and Rescue crews gather at the Gordonstoun Fire Station   Inside the decon tent

The Gordonstoun Fire Station recently hosted a multi-station exercise with around 60 firefighters from five stations across Moray. The exercise involved the inclusion of Hazardous Materials and demonstrated the procedures that the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service follow in dealing with such an incident. The Gordonstoun Firefighters were able to get involved with several elements of the incident as well as observe some of the more complicated procedures. It was a great opportunity for Gordonstoun to work with Firefighters from nearby stations and put into practice the many hours of training they undertake on a weekly basis.
