Spring Term 2018

Inter-House Bake-Off

Bruce House   Cumming House   G-House

This year's inter-House bake-off, timed to coincide with Fairtrade Fortnight, had a decidely chocolatey bias. Houses were provided with their Fairtrade ingredient and the brief that the resulting cake should have a House-related theme. Teams consisting of one student from each year group slaved away into the night, baking their cakes and perfecting their designs before presenting them at the morning chapel to the judging panel of Mr Edge, Ms Kerr and Ms Leinster from the Refectory.

Hopeman House   Round Square

When the judges had admired, tasted and deliberated, the results were announced - Duffus came first with their stylish representation of the Duffus Bull, in second were Plewlands complete with lots of pink roses and a model of Mrs Beavan's chihuahua Ruby, with Windmill's very onw windmill taking the thrid place.

First place - Duffus House   Second place - Plewlands House   Third place - Windmill Lodge
