Summer Term 2018

Summer Sports are Back

Summer Sports - cricket   Summer Sports - athletics

The return of the summer sunshine means the return of summer sport with Cricket, Tennis and Athletics back on our sporting programme. With many fixture opportunities and Athletic meets throughout the term, this is often a favourite for the children and we’ve set off to a fantastic start winning our first tennis fixtures of this year.

Last Tuesday, the Junior School’s first sail training group returned to Aberlour House. This experience is one that the children in Year 8 look forward to all year and when it comes around, it always delivers! The children had an exciting adventure, learning new skills and working hard as a team. The time spent living and working in such close proximity pulled everyone together as a team, with strengthened character. Well done STV group1!

Boarders, BBQ and Brodie

Brodie Castle

The weather during the first week back at school has reminded us of why the Summer Term often lives long in the memory. Long light evenings, the smell of freshly mown grass and the beautiful campus in the sunshine, are just a few of the great things this term can offer. Not wanting to miss out for a second, the Aberlour House residents decided to have a BBQ on Saturday evening to kick this term off the way we mean to go on. This was followed by a fantastic Sunday visit to Brodie Castle. The pictures speak for themselves!
