Support For Scholarships & Bursaries

Scholarships and Bursaries

Gordonstoun has a long tradition of providing assistance to those students who may not be able to pay full fees. Fundamental to the school’s ethos this ensures pupils from a variety of backgrounds can benefit from Gordonstoun’s unique education. On average approximately 30 % of pupils receive some form of assistance with fees.

As a relatively young institution with few endowments, Gordonstoun needs to build vital funds in this important area.

They Say It Best

 A Word from Our Scholars…

"Gordonstoun prepared me for the tough academic life at university and I was lucky enough to have some wonderful teachers who really cared about my learning. This allowed me to win an academic scholarship which has been extremely helpful for my academic career and looked extremely good on the UCAS form which made me stand out from the crowd of applicants.

If I were to write down all the experiences I had at Gordonstoun and how these changed me I would end up writing a book! I will be eternally grateful for all the opportunities and experiences that Gordonstoun has given me, because it has truly prepared me for life in the big wild world not only academically but as a person." Academic Scholar, Gianmarco Orlando (right)

“…My time at Gordonstoun has helped me develop into a more confident and well-rounded individual and it has truly been a special place to be educated. I will be forever grateful to the Ogden Trust for having given me this chance. “ Ogden Scholar, Seki Yusuf (left)

“I have grasped every opportunity that Gordonstoun has offered with both hands and I really feel that the five years I've had here have made me a more confident individual. I plan to go on to study Medicine at university and I believe Gordonstoun has provided me with the stamina and persistence required to go down a career path such as this - something I couldn’t be more thankful for. I am so grateful to the Trust and to Gordonstoun for this opportunity.” Heath Jary Scholar, Jack Haywood (centre)

“Rank Foundation fully supports this initiative to enable a wide range of students to enjoy the unique Gordonstoun experience and is happy to continue to play a part in the process.” Fred Packard, Chairman, Rank Foundation

“I wholeheartedly support Gordonstoun’s aim of maintaining a broad range of backgrounds in their student recruitment. I am pleased to be associated with them by supporting bright scientists at the School.” Sir Peter Ogden, Founder, Chairman & Trustee, The Ogden Trust

We are very proud and grateful to the prominent Charitable Trusts and Foundations and individuals who have contributed to our Scholarships and Bursaries Fund.

Please help us in giving talented young people an opportunity to make the most of all that a Gordonstoun education has to offer.
