Jazz and Rock Spectacular

On Thursday 11 May seven bands comprising students from all year groups presented the annual Jazz/Rock Spectacular to a packed audience of staff, students, parents and members of the public.
The students, having rehearsed throughout the year for this, presented a programme of some 30 songs by composers ranging from Gershwyn to Gorillaz to an extremely lively and appreciative audience.
The show also supported the Romanian Orphanage fund-raising project for which a collection was taken up at the end.
