Brother and sister Erika (Year 7) and Findlay (Year 9) competed recently in the Welsh Alpine Ski Championships at Les Crosets in Switzerland. All their hard work and dedicated training paid off as the two youngsters achieved excellent results. In the Slalom Erika became the fastest Scottish Club girl, finishing fourth in her Age Group and Findlay came second in his Age Group finishing 8th overall in the Junior category. Unfortunately Erika was unable to finish her Giant Slalom race as she crashed out on the second to last gate but Findlay came first in his Age group.

Findlay then went on to compete in the British Schoolboys' Races, which had an entry of over 155 boys from all over the UK. Representing the School, Findlay came third and fifth in his age group in the Slalom and Giant Slalom, 14th and 20th overall in the Junior categories.

All being well both will be competing in the Interschool Races in March, in the Scottish Championships at Easter and also in the British Championships in Meribel, which is the final race of the year.
