Taster Weekends and Visits

Taster Weekends

The next Taster Weekend is 6 & 7 October 2018 which is also the Junior School Scholarship Assessment Weekend for 2019-20 entry.

Taster Days/Weekends are for those boys and girls who would like to sample what life is like at the Junior School. Pupils have the option of spending the night in the School as well, even if they are not intending to board when they become pupils. The emphasis of the day is on fun and it is a good opportunity for interested parents and pupils to experience the school in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.

During the weekend pupils will also be assessed for entry.  Assessment is used purely as a benchmark and standardised tests in Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning are used. There will also be an opportunity to produce a piece of creative writing on a suggested theme.
