Watch Leader - Seasonal (FTC)

The Gordonstoun Sail Training Department are recruiting Seasonal Watch Leaders for the 2024 sailing season (April to October). This is a great opportunity to become a member of the Gordonstoun staff with a generous salary and benefit package that includes accommodation and meals. Candidates must have a RYA Day Skipper or above and a current ENG1 Medical Fitness Certificate, as per maritime regulations. Please note a proven track record in Sail Training in positions of responsibility on sail training vessels is essential for this post.

Teacher of Brass

Gordonstoun is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified brass teacher to join the music department. The brass teacher will work across the junior and senior schools, teaching individual students in addition to running ensembles and supporting the junior school instrumental curriculum. The successful candidate will also prepare students for examinations (ABRSM, Trinity, etc) and for performance both in and out of the school.

Junior School Assistant

The Junior School is an exciting and homely place to live and learn; it has c.120 pupils aged 5-13, around a third of whom are boarders. It has a wide and varied timetable and enjoys the use of superb modern facilities for sports, the performing arts, outdoor learning and other activities. Junior School Assistants play a key role in the running of the school, helping care for boarders and day pupils and support their learning in the classroom and beyond. They have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, and embrace our school motto ‘Plus Est En Vous’ (there is more in you) in their approach.
